What is the School of Whispers?
The School of Whispers is an online platform devoted to helping people not just learn, but embody the art of listening to their own intuition, body, nature, and Spirit/Universe/God/Goddess/Creator/etc.
Teachings curated from indigenous wisdom traditions, Chinese medicine philosophy, and spiritual inquiry are at the core of how the founder, Stephanie, helps individuals reclaim sovereignty over their health and overall sense of connection in their life.
Rather than focusing on solely providing answers, the School of Whispers focuses on equipping people with methods and knowledge that enable them to access their inner wisdom.
To put it simply, the SoW converges:
Chinese Medicine
Spiritual Awakening
Personal Sovereignty
Core Philosophy:
1. Symptoms are Signposts, Not Malfunctions
The body carries deep intelligence. What we call symptoms are often the body’s attempt to guide us back into balance.
2. Intuition Is an Innate Language
The heart communicates through subtle signals. Listening to it is an art we are all born knowing.
3. Nature Is Our Teacher
The rhythms of the seasons, the elements, and the natural world mirror the rhythms within us.
4. Sovereignty Is Our Birthright
True power arises when we reclaim authority over our health, our choices, and our lives.
5. Awakening Is Remembering
The soul is not something we become. It is something we remember.
6. Wisdom Grows in Community
The path of awakening becomes steadier when it is walked together.
Who is this for?
The School of Whispers is for those who feel that something deeper is calling them.
It is for people who sense that symptoms carry meaning, that intuition is real, and that the body and soul are constantly communicating. All we need is to learn how to listen.
For some, they find their first steps of listening within the body. They may feel overwhelmed by symptoms they don’t yet understand and have begun to question the limits of the allopathic medical model, but they aren’t sure where else to turn.
For others, the journey has taken a more spiritual form. They may be at the beginning of their awakening—or deep within it—but feel confused by the noise of the external world.
And for some, there comes a moment when they are simply tired of living only in the mind—tired of feeling pulled by distractions and ready to learn what it means to live from the heart.
If you are curious about the deeper language of the body, the rhythms of nature, and the path of remembering who you truly are, you may already be part of this school.
About the founder, Stephanie, Dipl.OM L.Ac:
I’m a board certified and licensed practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which encompasses acupuncture, herbal medicine, food therapy, bodywork, and lifestyle counseling based on ancient Chinese philosophy and the integration of Western and Eastern medical approaches.
I have a BS in Psychology from Rollins College, as well as a BS in Health Sciences and MS in Oriental Medicine from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine. I’m also a trained yoga and barre instructor, a stretch therapy practitioner, and was formally a licensed personal trainer specializing in functional movement.

I started the School of Whispers first and foremost for myself. I was raised in a world heavily influenced by Catholicism and wealth, where cultural narrative placed authority between the individual and God/Creator, celebrated the mind as the primary source of direction, and positioned the body as a source of worth.
Up into my early twenties, I lived from the belief that there was something deeply wrong with me During that time, I also found the world of modern psychology and new-age spirituality, which seemed to only perpetuate that narrative.
During those first years of my spiritual awakening, I was determined to get to the bottom of this belief and “heal it all away.” Feeling confused, lost, and alone, I longed for a space where I could learn from trusted sources about what it meant to be embodied as both a human and a spiritual being.
Thankfully, at this time I was in school for TCM, which at is core is a medicine based around the belief that harmony is relative, symptoms are signposts of wisdom, and the body is innately capable of healing itself. During this period, I also began to explore working with Indigenous keepers of sacred plant allies. Together, these methods helped me to connect my innermost Truth and sense of divinity, while tapping into my source of power and vitality (in TCM known as essence or Jing).
Finally, one day it all clicked: I realized there was never anything to heal, and what needed to change was my belief that there was something wrong with me. In other words, I healed from healing.
I’m no longer driven by the belief I was fundamentally broken or that I had to outsource my sense of worth and safety. Instead of seeking ceremonies and knowledge to heal, I began to arrive from a place of curiosity and steadfast purpose.
I am, and will always be, a student of the School of Whispers. Following my own whispers has led me to a life far more beautiful than anything my mind could have planned.
My mission is to enable others to learn how to listen to and follow their own whispers. I currently lives in Costa Rica, where I’m living out my dream life while working remotely and serving as a facilitator and Chinese Medicine physician at the Iboga retreat center, Root and Wisdom.
What the School Offers:
To begin, let’s be clear about what the School of Whispers is not. It’s not a space for quick fixes, outsourcing authority, or spiritual performance. It’s not here to tell you what to do with your life.
What it’s ultimately here to do is help you remember how to listen to your own body and heart, which in turn opens the door to living a life from your innermost truth.
The School of Whispers is for those who are ready to reclaim responsibility for their life, their health, and their intuitive knowing. Similar to my journey of learning to listen, its mission is to help deepen trust in one’s own self and cultivate sovereignty.
As this is a school, I’ve provided a growing collection of resources to support this journey. The School of Whispers Podcast explores topics such as Chinese medicine, my personal journey and adventures, and topics discussed in the health & wellness and spiritual zeitgeist. I also invite guests to share how life unfolded when they chose to follow their own whispers.
Alongside the podcast, the School of Whispers library includes e-books, blog posts, and courses designed to support deeper learning and reflection.
The school is a living library that reflects a constant evolution of teachings, ideas, and practices.
I also work with individuals one-on-one for those seeking more personal guidance. If you feel called to work together, you can learn more
